25 Dinosaur Coloring Pages

You know what never gets old? Dinosaurs. Kids still lose their minds over a goofy brontosaurus or a mean-looking T. Rex, and let’s be honest – most adults do too. There’s something weirdly satisfying about coloring in those big scaly beasts, whether it’s a spiky stegosaurus or one of those scary raptors that probably would’ve eaten us for lunch.

Some pages are pretty basic (perfect for little kids who can’t stay in the lines), while others might take you an hour to finish.

How to Download and Print

Here’s the deal:

  • Pick a dinosaur you like. Simple as that.
  • Click Print or Download (Download dumps it straight to your computer).
  • Print button opens it in a new tab – just save it with Ctrl+S or that little disk icon, then pick where you want it.
  • Regular printer paper works fine. Hit Ctrl+P or the printer button, and you’re good to go.
  • Grab some colors – doesn’t matter if it’s your kid’s crayons or those fancy markers you’ve been hoarding.

Nobody’s charging for these, so use them freely at home, pass them out to your students, or just color them while you’re supposed to be doing something else. We won’t tell.

Extra Fun for Dino Fans

Coloring is fun, but adding a few playful activities or facts makes it even better. Here are some ideas you can mix in with your coloring time:

  • Dino Detective Game – While coloring, ask kids to imagine what their dinosaur eats [1], where it lives, and what sound it makes.
  • Fact Swap – Did you know the stegosaurus dinosaur’s brain was only about the size of a walnut [2]? Or that the spinosaurus dinosaur loved hanging out near water? Share one fact with each picture.
  • Mix and Match – Try coloring a t-rex dinosaur in wild rainbow shades, or give a raptor dinosaur stripes like a tiger. Who says dinosaurs can’t have style?
  • Timeline Challenge – Place the pages in order from the oldest dinosaur to the youngest. It’s a simple way to sneak in a little history while having fun.
