25 Pig Coloring Sheets
Cute little pigs have been part of our fairy tales since childhood. Even today, pigs accompany children and, paradoxically, are used as insults among adults. Well, life is full of paradoxes, which is why we sometimes need a break and to start coloring a little. With our coloring pages of pigs and realistic piglets, you are sure to find something you like and forget about the online hustle and bustle for a moment in the world of crayons and pastels.
There’s a mix here:
- Basic outlines for the youngest kids (think: big shapes, no tiny details)
- Medium-level pigs for those who want a little more to do
- Some that are packed with details, probably best for older kids or anyone who likes to spend time filling in every inch
You can print or download any of these for free. No need for anything fancy – just grab whatever crayons or markers are lying around. Pick a pig, print it, and see what happens. Sometimes that’s all it takes.
How to Download and Print
You see a pig you want to color, here’s all you need to do:
- Scroll down and find your favorite picture.
- Click Print to open it in a new tab. You can save it right from there by clicking the Save icon or pressing Ctrl+S.
- Want to save it for later? Just use the Download button.
- Print your coloring page on regular A4 paper, no fancy setup needed. Use Ctrl+P or your browser’s print button [1].
- Now just add your colors, crayons, markers, pencils, whatever you like best.
All pages are free to use at home, in class, or wherever you need a little creative break.

Fun Pig Ideas & Surprising Facts
Why not add a twist to your coloring? Here are some ideas and facts to inspire you while you color:
- Use shades of pink, brown, or even blue for a fun twist. Who says a pig can’t be any color you want?
- Make a farm scene by drawing extra animals or a barn in the background.
- Try giving your pig some silly accessories. Maybe a party hat, sunglasses, or a superhero cape!
Pigs are very intelligent, even smarter than dogs. They can learn their names in two weeks, are well trained, and are able to play video games better than some primates. The mother pig sings to her young while nursing, and the piglets learn to recognize their mother’s voice to run to her. Pigs also have more than 20 different types of sounds to communicate, ranging from hunger to mate calls. Pigs cannot look up due to the anatomical limitations of the neck and spinal muscles, so they always walk with their heads down.
Pigs have an excellent sense of smell and a unique snout that they use to find food, including hunting for highly prized truffles. Pigs are very clean animals, although they are often considered dirty. They refuse to defecate where they eat and sleep if given the choice, even newborn piglets do the same. Adult pigs have 44 teeth and tusks that continue to grow throughout their lives [2].
